Fics like That Time Dazai's Ghoul Uncle Revitalized Literature in Yokohama
This is a fanfic for people who don't know to live well. Having gotten accustomed to developing strange personalities or new abilities every time he died, Kaneki Ken's final suicidal act led him directly to a new world devoid of ghouls and conflict. Except, this new world was a bit special and literary giants fought as melee berserkers instead of writing books - but it was fine. Retired and married - now Washuu Ken - ignored the troublesome rebellious authors, ignored the even more troublesome Washuu clan that almost destroyed world in his previous life, ignored the unreliable government, ignored the wild Transcendents that wanted to cause mayhem, and ignored his suicidal nephew- like hell he could ignore! Why are his favorite books used as special moves in fights? Why did these authors skip school or join all kinds of messy organizations? Damn it, give him back his literary masterpieces! If they refuse to write, he'll go find them and force them to write in person. Why was a reader like him tasked with saving this world? He has retired! Retired!!
