Fics like Instinct and Impulse

Heat rejection is almost unheard of in unbonded omegas. It’s a symptom of a broken bond, of an omega abandoned and neglected by the alpha they chose. Sophia didn’t think it could happen to her. As KATSEYE’s only omega – and its carefully chosen leader – she’s spent years burying every instinct, every want, every impossible feeling for Daniela. Loving her quietly is survivable. Wanting more is not. Her Dani has always been gentle. Steady and helpful through every weight Sophia is forced to shoulder. She’s calm and caring and nothing like the alphas Sophia has learned to fear, which is exactly why Sophia convinces herself Daniela could never want her back. Then Sophia collapses onstage. Heat rejection is fatal. Hospitals are too far away. And when the only guaranteed cure is a mating bite, Daniela must choose between letting Sophia die or binding herself to her forever. What happens when you create a mating bond before either person is prepared for one?
