Removing his hoodie didn't relieve the irritation. The itch lived under his skin permanently. Something wasn't right. Not wrong, the feeling was smoky and insubstantial. He was trapped somewhere in the vagaries of not-fine and not-devastated. Like winter had come and wood worm was boring its way inside his soft parts, if he made it to the spring the holes would be revealed. The rot was growing, travelling through his insides. Suffocating. He needed air. Maybe the rain would wash it free. At some point the music had stopped and the only rhythm he could hear was his own harsh breathing. The squeak of his shoes on the floor was jarring, a record scratch halt as he moved towards the door. "Stay," Minho whispered. Or: Jisung is overwhelmed and overstimulated. Minho asks him to stay.
