Shit he must be drunk. He must be really drunk. Because the man leaning on the wall, looking down at his phone looked alarmingly familiar. Too similar to the boy whose hands he had held once, who gave him an acorn, who told him that ‘even if you breathed today you did well’ whenever Jisung came crying to him. His hyung. His hyung who walked down the road lined with cherry blossoms holding Jisung’s hand all because he had a fight in school again. His hyung who sat next to him in the cafeteria despite being older, because every one else treated him like a disease. His hyung who fed cats as they walked back from school together. But it couldn’t be. Could it? He left. Jisung left. Left like the coward he was, with the intent of never having to see his beloved hyung again. Alternatively: Jisung met Minho when he was thirteen. Jisung left Minho when he was fourteen. Six years later, he moves to Seoul to start a new life. And unexpectedly, reconnect with his old life too. (Title from 13 by Han)
