Fics like I Dreamed a Little Dream (of You)

After the tuna melt incident but before Shane can reconcile with Ilya, he gets seriously injured on the ice. While in a coma he lives an alternate life where he hadn't run out if Ilya that day, where he'd actually stayed. However once he wakes up, he realises the beautiful life he had didn't really exist at all and Ilya isn't there (or is he?), So he's intent on remedying that in any way he can. This time he's adamant on staying, so when Ilya gets the news that his father has passed, he's not alone to tend to his grief, Shane and the Hollander's are there. Includes Lily is Ilya reveal. Good parent Hollanders. Good friends JJ and Hayden. Even Zane Boodram gets to shoot his shot (in a purely hockey way). -- Epilogue: Bood and the Centaurs react to the news of Ilya Rozanov signing with Ottawa.
