In the brutal realm of Forsaken, the past is never truly dead. For Two Time, the trauma of their 16th year—a horrific experience in a modified femur breaker that targeted their ribs—returns in a recurring nightmare that blurs the line between memory and reality. When a violent thunderstorm strikes the cabin and C00lkidd stole Two Time's only defense—their earmuffs—Two Time’s carefully maintained manic smile finally shatters. Drowning in sensory overload and a severe panic attack, Two Time turns to Azurewrath for a distraction intense enough to drown out the thunder. Despite the deep-seated hatred he tries to harbor, Azure's all-consuming love leads him to provide a raw, grounding sanctuary. Through a series of possessive and intimate acts, including the intervention of his enchanted hat to ensure total privacy, Azure replaces the phantom pressure of the rib-breaker with his own heat. As the storm passes, Two Time finally finds a rare, genuine peace, waking at their habitual 6:45 AM with an actual smile—sore, but finally safe in the aftermath.
