Fics like Veil of Memories

Wu Shiguang is the only one who remembers the sacrifices made to attain the peace that they currently reside in. Yet, when a new ancient figure starts to destroy the world that they’d sacrificed so much to protect, friends of the present and those long forgotten must reunite to fight for what they believe in. Jiu Ying’s attempts to destroy the pillars that hold up the earth had created an opening into the realm of chaos, releasing a creature as old as time itself. Taotie, a gluttonous creature that knows nothing other than endless hunger, will not stop until there is nothing left. As it ravages the land, members of the Shiling sect and Formless Moon sect must assemble to keep the monster at bay. Even Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi are not safe from this monster in the star-stone created haven and return to join the fight. Will our gang be able to keep it from devouring everything in its sights, or will the world become devoid of life. - Essentially, this is a story where our favourite crew reunites in the near future.
