Fics like Northward

Yuji Itadori, a cheerful, five year-old child none the wiser to the truth behind his conception nor the fate that had been predetermined for him lifetimes ago. Ryomen Sukuna, the ruthless King of Cures that, through indomitable strength, had reigned terror upon the Heian Era over a millennium beforehand. Both of them had a goal: Sukuna desired to reincarnate, eliminate the modern world’s ‘strongest’, and live free of consequence… while Yuji, being the child that he was, had the much simpler want of making his beloved mama proud of him and doing the right thing. For different reasons, neither had anticipated how things would end up: cohabiting a single mind together for such an extensive period of time… and yet, it happened regardless. With a decade’s worth of time to get to know each other before Yuji’s inevitable fate as the King of Curse’s vessel comes to pass, will things go according to Sukuna’s original plan, or will their time spent together be the catalyst for a change of fate? OR: How would Jujutsu Kaisen unfold if Yuji became Sukuna’s vessel much earlier on?
