Fics like Inheritance

When Project Quantum Leap is reborn, Janis Calavicci is pulled into the world that shaped her family. She understands better than anyone the cost of time travel on those left behind. As Ben Song leaps into the life of a fractured family and a boy desperate to be seen, Janis is forced to confront her own grief, her loyalty to her father, and the promise she made long ago. Moving between the formative years of Al Calavicci’s life and the present, Janis learns what it means to love a legend— and what it takes to step out of his shadow.
