One rumor seems to tear the Greasers apart, and not just them, but the Preps too. Jimmy is too busy handling the Jocks and Nerds or being "king of the school" to help, or even know what's going on outside of his focus. or, Christy tells of her encounter with Peanut that got awkward when he called her Johnny's name, making Lola falsely believe Johnny cheated. When Johnny catches Lola with Gord again, seeing how Peanut loves him more than she does, he realizes he might have feelings for his best friend too— and if Lola is already convinced he cheated, should he just do it? Gord vandalizes the auto shop to humiliate Johnny over the rumor. Being caught by Vance, he seduces him to avoid consequence. However, his resentful accomplice, Parker, wished he could have finally faced consequences. Finding this out, Gord decides Parker is a traitor, and when Parker fights back, the Greasers find out Parker isn't so bad. When Peanut conducts revenge upon Gord for his vandalism unintentionally ruining his and Johnny's romance, Parker isn't pleased, for no explainable reason other than he's— in love with Gord? ...He didn't think things could ever get worse at Bullworth, until everyone riots and hates each other.
