Fics like Jeremy Frost

Scout looks like your average loudmouthed kid from Boston—but he isn’t. He’s a 300-year-old winter spirit from Norway, born from a boy who drowned beneath the ice of a frozen lake and was brought back by the mysterious Man in the Moon. With no name and no past, he spent centuries wandering the world, leaving snow, mischief, and fleeting joy in his wake. That all changed in the 1960s, when boredom—and maybe something lonelier—led him to the Gravel Wars. There, for the first time, he found something he’d never had before: a name, a team… a family. But being human is something Scout has only ever pretended to be. And if the other mercenaries find out what he really is—something old, something cold, something not quite alive—he risks losing the only home he’s ever known. So he runs, he jokes, he fights… And he hides. Or, AU in which Scout is Jack Frost.
