Fics like I Ask Myself What Am I Doing Here?

“I am not here to break you up. Not here to get back together. Not here for a fuck. Not even here for a relationship.” Ilya’s face transformed then, a little surprise, a little doubt and a lot of confusion. “I’ve come because of news I found out a week ago. I’m pregnant.” “Impossible.” Ilya breathed out. “I use condom.” “And I was on birth pills.” Harry nodded, face a mixture of bitterness, sadness and joy. “And yet here the baby is anyway. I checked with the doctor; eight weeks.” Before the All-Stars, before solidifying their relationship, Ilya Rozanov met an omega that reminded him of his Shane—Harry Potter. And after a night filled with Russian vodka, they left a club and spent a night in a hotel. Ilya woke up, went to practice and moved on with his life. He got to keep his Shane. But Harry? He woke up, went home and was throwing up seven weeks later. Time passes and a short visit to the doctors reveal he'd gotten a piece of that night within him still. A child. Between the news of Ilya's future mate, Shane, this child and the future yet unknown, Harry has to grapple for a future he's still not sure he should be fighting for.
