Fics like littlest cousin

gimli is too young to go with the company and that's the start of the jealousy and resentment with each battle that is passed by gimli in favor of fili and kili even after gimli is an adult those feelings grow untill one night he overhears the company talking about the war of the ring. upset that once again he's passed over in favor of fili and kili gimli takes it into his own hands and leaves a week before the boys. leading to gimli being the dwarf in the fellowship.
