Fics like Meeting you, yet again

At some point during season 8 Etho disappeared, leaving behind a man too far gone for his best friend to realise it. Bdubs continues onto season 9 and builds his solitary monolith. Today Bdubs leaves his home to a wonderful surprise: There is a fox sleeping on his welcome mat. A very sad-looking white fox. (or Etho got cursed to be a fox, which, in true fairytale magic, is only broken by true love. Leading him to try and get Bdubs to admit his feelings through dreams and a warming new furry form.) (Bdubs is sad and just wants his best friend back)
