Fics like You're Sitting in Front of Me

Sam’s dying wish was for Dean to go to Lisa and finally live the apple pie life, so of course he was going to try. And he did, for six months, until the burden of his grief and trauma became too much and Lisa finally decided to call it quits. Feeling broken and alone, Dean spirals into a dark place, eventually prompting a distressed Castiel to finally reveal himself, and the fact that he’s been watching him from the shadows.
