Fics like Fake Eyes Open

When a single photo threatens to expose what was never meant to be seen, everything begins to unravel for Stray Kids. A quiet spring day turns into chaos when dating rumors surrounding Lee Know and Han spread like wildfire, forcing their company into damage control. The solution is simple, convince the public that nothing about the members’ closeness is unusual. That this is just how they are. And the perfect distraction? Seungmin and Changbin. But that becomes harder than expected. Because Seungmin has always felt more than he should, hiding it behind teasing smiles and effortless closeness, while Changbin has spent years burying his own struggles beneath music, never questioning the comfort he finds in Seungmin’s presence. As staged moments begin to feel indistinguishable from genuine ones, and quiet interactions off-camera start to matter more than the ones performed for the world, both are forced to confront something they’ve spent years avoiding. What happens when something that was never meant to be real… is the only thing that ever was?
