Fics like Pen pals

The town was an already overfilled graveyard, eager to fill itself with more corpses. But barely anyone new came along. You were the unfortunate soul to roll into the cursed town, the scrawny boy, Victor, becoming your sole companion. Except the creatures aren't as animal-like as you believed. One was creeping it's way into your heart through words alone. Unbeknowst to you, your words impact the monster just as much. ——————— A one-shot from my tumblr that I loved very much! So I decided to post it here as well. This is the general premise of what would've been a full fic once upon a time, but cramped into a one-shot.
