Fics like so i look to you and overflow

"My dearest Felix, Growing up, my mum told me that sunflowers represent a lot of things — good things, like loyalty and happiness. I don't know if anyone's told you this yet, but the reason we have so many in the village and why we let them grow so big is because of how well it can sustain us. The elders tell us it warms the earth, that it brings rain. I'm sure you know the basic uses like oil and seeds, but did you also know we use it to tell time? The sunflowers face the sun the whole day through. They rise in the east every morning and set in the west every day, just like the sun. That's how I feel whenever I see you. My eyes follow you day in and day out like sunflowers follow the sun. You're my sun, Felix — beautiful, like sunshine, and bright and warm, both inside and out. All I want is to be around you and your warmth, even if it's just once, just for a moment. I hope you'll accept this courting gift. To see you wearing it would warm my heart."
