Literally rolling back the clock, that is to say. The cure undoes more than just the vampirism, instead bringing the person to back to before they ever even met their Sire. Physically and mentally. The fight might be bloodless, but it is no less a struggle to be faced with the people who did so much harm; now stripped of their crimes, their memories, and their entire lives. Can the humans of Oakhurst look into the clueless faces of Scott and Owen and find something innocent within? And can Scott and Owen live with the hundreds of years that they lost? — Scott and the other vampires are de-aged by the cure, and lose various amounts of time from their memories and bodies. It causes as many issues as it fixes.
