Fics like Little Miracles

Clark types and deletes at least twenty messages to Bruce in those first few months. He wants to share photos of Conner. To complain about the lack of sleep. To tell him how Conner hates tummy time unless he’s on Clark’s chest. But to open that line of communication would require telling Bruce about the pregnancy, about quitting his job, about shoving the Superman suit in the back of his closet. About Conner’s other parent. Clark deletes another message, puts his phone on his nightstand, face down and brings Conner to the rocking chair for a little milk before bed.
