Fics like Home is where Hell is

The ground slowed in its destruction the closer Abaddon stepped to the glowing crack, Abaddon had already begun floating down, eager to return to his home with his new felt power, ready to reclaim everything he had lost, his body, his status. Abaddon was only able to rejoice in his return of power for mere moments before the cross burned on his chest started glowing, something divine stopping the process of the cults' twisted plans. Abaddon suddenly stopped glowing, and dropped like a brick into the opened gateway. The ground shuttered again, swallowing Abaddon’s along with its vessel. And quickly closed off, leaving the cult in confusion and the Freelings feeling bittersweet, especially Esther. ( In short: Hell was not brought to earth, Abaddon was brought to hell, while still stuck in his vessel)
