Fics like I Won't Cry For You (I Won't Crucify the Things You Do)

Tfw you're from a pg-13 feel-good hero's journey type universe where the power of friendship saved the day, but your new bestie is from an r-rated cosmic horror bloodfest tragedy where everything he did was a last-ditch effort with no assumption of survival. And you were both doomed from the moment you were sealed in your ships. Pray to the patron saint of one-way trips. (Grace and Rocky somehow inexplicably find and rescue Simon. Here's how that goes, in the beginning. Inspired by @cerescoelacanth on tumblr, thanks for making me insane about BloodyMary!)
