Fics like Chromatic Abberation

The unending conflict against the grimm was, and remains intractable, grinding, and endless, and it didn't look like it was going to change. Desperation makes even immortals do odd things. Endless moves on endless chessboards, each rebuffed. Ozpin wonders then, if the gods have forsaken Remnant, could there be a world out there with a hero? His current body is already beginning to decay, and he needs to make a decision: Does he do the safe thing? Or does he take a completely blind gamble? Success could be his, or the dissolution of his works. He knows what he has to do. ************** Saelis Rusulka, perhaps the greatest Warrior of Light the Source has ever seen, has seen many things across her adventures. Yet even she can be surprised by events completely out of her control. Days away from assisting a hrothgar woman named Wuk Lamat with her homeland's rite of succession, she feels a strange, but familiar sensation overcome her. Only G'raha Tia could cast the spell, so who exactly was calling her? ************** Ozpin throws his life's works into the wind. He sends a plea into the wide, vast, unknown universe. He hoped it wouldn't blow up in his face.
