Fics like Ragnarok (Updates on 10/9, Every Other Week)

The world is teetering on the brink. Almost nobody understands how bad it is. Izuku does, though. He can feel it, brushing along his skin. Dancing on his fingertips when he touches maps, whispering to him about the danger his class is soon to face. Dangers they are not prepared for--cannot prepare for, because nobody else knows how. He can feel it, singing to him from the sea; a warning of a warning, of fear and despair in the air. Ghosts of the past, specters of the present, and monsters of the future, all laying in wait for the stars to align. For Japan to give up on what is true and what is good. The tides of war are low, but they will rise once again. The foundations of Japan have fallen to age and disrepair. The earth is stained in the blood of the innocent, enough to whet Their appetite. Time is short, and soon all will be drowned by those who chose the absence of all that is good. The world does not need another All Might. What it gets, it may not be able to handle. Either way, Deku will make Gran Torino proud. All Might, not so much. The King in Yellow takes to the stage; it is time to see who dances to the tune of his storm.
