Fics like trimming down the ache

Today, Leo looks down at his claws-nails, really, like this, all blunt and crooked-cut, but Leo loved calling them claws for how badass and fitting it was when they weren’t cut down-and realizes they’re blunt. Grown out a little. Probably a week or two of growth on them. Leo turns his hand around, examines the back of them. He knows he didn’t maintain them while he was out of it, of course he didn’t, but who- “Why are my claws blunt?” Leo asks frankly, holding his hand out in front of him, turning to CJ to see if he knows anything- And freezing. Because CJ has a horrified-resigned look on his face, all deep colors of blue and some sickly shade of green.
