It's a cold day at the tail-end of December. Legoshi and Louis have arrived home after a morning at Gosha's place. They've brought an immodest amount of gifts and festivities back with them, ranging from sugary delicacies to critically acclaimed novellas. All the same, Legoshi's final gift from Louis, the only one he'd yet to receive, had to be left at home. The sight gave Legoshi pause, abruptly stopping his pace and speech alike. On the edge of the bed was a present concealed by festive wrapping. It cut the figure of a small, thick book. Bemusement coloured the wolf's features. “Wasn’t it too big to fit in the car?” Smugly nodding along like a bobble head, Louis hummed affirmatively. He could feel how poor of a job he was doing concealing the cocky smirk curling his lips. “I did say that, yes.” Watching reality dawn on Legoshi with all the subtlety of a freight train mid-crash was a delicate sight. One to be cherished. “But, clearly, I lied,” Louis admitted plainly, before turning sultry. “It wasn't appropriate to wear in front of your grandfather, in reality~” Takes place mere hours after the events of the previous story, Tethers.
