Fics like The Strange Case of Alicean Witwicky

Optimus Prime has only just begun dating the feisty Alicean Witwicky, cousin to Spike, when tragedy strikes the young couple. In their first attempt to consummate without the use of Optimus Prime's holoform, matters goes horribly wrong. The woman that the Autobots thought they had known for years has in fact been replaced with a Decepticon simulacrum years before. On the warpath for answers, Optimus Prime and his Autobots are led down twisting rabbit tunnels where the truth lies buried in the long dark and forgotten past. Or... An alternative reality where Optimus Prime and the Autobots discovered Alicean Witwicky's secret years before the events of Resonance, in possibly one of the most traumatic ways I could imagine.
