Genos, a teenage Cyborg struggling with his humanity, discovers a small shrine while wandering lost in the ruins of City Z. There he meets a slightly strange man by the name of Saitama. It is Saitama’s unusal yet kind advise that triggers Genos’ road to self-discovery - and finding the meaning of being human. -- He shook off the thoughts and knelt. The coins were dropped in first, clattering against the slanted plates on top before falling into the box with a 'ti-tunk!'. Genos reached up to grasp the rope above the box to ring the bell, the tiny pale thing chiming sweetly and clearly in the quiet of the abandoned city. The sound echoed around him as he bowed, twice, and when it was as the 'chi-chiiime~' slipped away that Genos thought for a moment, synthetic brow furrowing, trying to piece together a simple prayer. Decided to focus on his current predicament, he brought his hands together to clap and closed his eyes. 'I pray for guidance.' He bowed again, low, forehead brushing the wood of the offering box, and he allowed himself to center his thoughts before rising from his spot in front of the shrine. "Hey, kid. You lost?"
