Fics like The last Hymn

In 1977, Charles Xavier’s final telepathic broadcast, "The Last Hymn," saved humanity from Sentinel extinction. Decades later, a weary Erik Lehnsherr travels back to 1956 to kill Raven and erase this mechanical nightmare at its source. Erik arrives with lethal intent, yet his resolve shatters at Oxford. There stands a young Charles—vibrant, whole, and unscarred by the tragedies to come. As Charles approaches with a mischievous smile and a playful, "You've been staring at me for twenty minutes, darling," Erik is overwhelmed. Facing the living ghost of the man he failed to save, he suffocates under the weight of a staggering second chance.
