Daryl hasn’t had a heat since the world went to shit. It’s been so long he kind of assumed he wouldn’t have another one ever again, but apparently a few weeks in Alexandria is enough to trigger it. He forgot how awful heats could be, how miserably horny and pathetic it made him. Reduced to crawling on the floor and praying to be put out of his goddamn misery, he doesn't want anyone to see him like this, weak and vulnerable. So of course that’s how Rick finds him.
