Fics like The Shattered Vanguard

The Law of the Bastion The world ended not with a bang, but with a lingering, acidic hiss. The Iron Bastion is the last spire of civilization, a vertical city of steel and glass rising out of the Barrens-a wasteland where the air eats skin and the "Hollowers" hunt by the beat of a human heart. Inside the Bastion, your biology is your destiny. Your scent is your ID card. The ARMIS Squad are the brawlers, the front-line Alphas who keep the monsters at the gate. The TEMPUS Squad are the precision, the tactical minds who navigate the grey areas of the law. But there is a secret rotting the foundations of the city. The Council of the Bastion fears what they cannot control, and they cannot control an Enigma. They especially cannot control an Enigma who has begun to look at the Bastion's Golden Boy with a hunger that defies every protocol ever written. The air is thick with the scent of rain, ink, and scorched citrus. The war is coming, but the real battle is being fought in the two inches of space between two men who refuse to say the first word.
