“Go!” There was movement around him. He rushed into the room and immediately made contact with the glass. His hands pressed against it as he looked for Eddie. His body froze. Buck tried to get himself to move, but he couldn’t. His legs felt like they were made of jelly. What was going on? He couldn’t get himself to understand why his body was so scared. Why his heart was pounding outside of his chest. Why there was a cold sweat slowly trickling down his back. Something in his brain snapped. His hand was on the radio. Blue green light flooded around him. Suddenly, he wasn’t looking at Eddie anymore. There weren't any firefighters around him or any sort of competition going on. All he could see was the glass in front of him. The glass he couldn’t break through. As Bobby pulled his mask off his head. -or- What if the last game wasn’t a race? What if it was something different? What if it reminds Buck of the lab? What if Buck had a PTSD attack in the middle of the competition and Eddie had no way to get to him?
