Fics like I Am On My Way Back to Where I Started

A hand covered his mouth. “SHHHH!” She was being not much quieter than he was but at least she removed her hand once she saw the side eye he gave her, “Some of these trees have been extinct since around the latest centuries of Ancient Greece.” He looked around. It didn’t seem that different to him. He wouldn’t know though, it’s not like he knew every type of tree that went extinct. He could hardly tell spruce from pine, and pine trees were his father’s trees! But there was one thing he did know: Annabeth knows everything. Bile was building, he refused to acknowledge it, didn’t want to. Didn’t want to face the deep churning of unwelcome truth in his gut, “So…what does that mean?” Knowing full well what it meant, but needing to hear it anyway, he braced for impact. “We’re in Ancient Greece.” ——————— OR: Six demigods are sent to Ancient Greece. Except this Ancient Greece worships gods who are cursed by the titan of time to never bear hale children. (Active and regularly updating with plans to actually finish the story) Title inspired by lyrics from the song “Down in the Valley” by the head and the heart
