Fics like Even the dreadful martyrdom must run its course

The first in the series! Title taken from Musée des Beaux Arts. Percy would like it to be known that he did not sign up for this. When you die, you're supposed to forget everything then get reincarnated. Not get reincarnated while still remembering everything, then get cursed with the gift of Prophecy, and then die all over again because Icarus is Fated to fall. ... and then it happened again. Percy is twelve years old and on his third life, his only desire is to live a normal life and maybe die of something other than falling to his death. Instead, he gets to deal with the gods (again), a prophecy (again), and try not to get cursed (also again). All because a certain paranoid ruler decided to lose his special Zap stick. Note: Apollo will just be haunting the narrative until the Titan's Curse. Until then, this will all be about Icarus/Percy and his journey.
