Fics like the rest is confetti

“Dan sighs, letting his body go limp as he tries desperately to push it all away, focusing on the truths he can handle; it’s a Thursday morning, he’s lying in bed with the love of his life, the world still spins on. The rest is confetti, meaningless scraps and tatters of fact falling around him that will only change the composition of these stolen moments if he allows them to. Which he won’t. Not yet.” or Dan and Phil carve a morning routine out of their new normal.
