Fics like A Pebble For A Landslide

The Battle of Geonosis was their hardest yet, and the 212th was looking forward to a little rest in the aftermath. The plan was for them to join General Windu on Dantooine to assist with the easy task of post-battle clean up. But of course that was too good to be true. Instead, they were sent to the Galigann sector. With the Trade Federation's devastating involvement on Dantooine, public opinion is finally turning against their so called 'neutrality'. The GAR wants to use this as justification to bring the fight right to their doorstep. They weren't expecting it to be a very difficult assignment. They also weren't expecting to find a ragtag group of surviving clones left over from the failed first assault 9 months ago. Or the forgotten Jedi padawan who's been leading them ever since. -OR- In which Obi-Wan finally gets the padawan he wanted, falls in love with his Commander, and forces Anakin to do some deep soul-searching. Not necessarily in that order. This obviously can't save the whole galaxy. A Sith Lord's master plan isn't so easily unraveled. But maybe things don't have to be quite so awful this time around.
