Fics like to sing a pretty song

"Would you like to do that, mh?" Venti asks. "Worshiping me, I mean. I bet you'd be so good at it. Chanting my name like a prayer, giving me all I ask of you and more, taking what I give and being grateful for it. Would you like that?" And Varka knows that this is his chance. That Venti is offering him a way out, that he just needs to say the word and this will be over. He can prove that he's above his impulses. He can pass Barbatos' test and show that he's a man with morals, a knight that can resist temptation. But then his eyes leave Venti's and fall on his lips instead. Barbatos is a benevolent Archon. He will forgive him. --- Young Knight of Favonius Varka meets a pretty bard at the Angel's Share and offers him a drink. Little does he know that this encounter will turn his life upside down. --- (probably first part of a series) ((every use, repost, partial repost or translation of this work must be previously discussed with the author. i do not own the characters, but i do own the idea and the story. i do not consent to this work being used to train any kind of artificial intelligence))
