Fics like Absence [Change]

Steven struggled in the months that followed his corruption, corruption scars making it difficult for him to pick himself up. Drowning at the bottom of his mother's sanctuary and waking up 5 years in the past, the right thing to do was obviously find a way back to the future as soon as possible. But... there wouldn’t be any harm in staying for just a bit longer, right? There was so much in his childhood he could fix, if he was there to guide his younger self through it. His road trip can wait. — Otherwise known as the author got sick of time travel fics not making it past s1, and planned out an au that goes all the way into su:future
