Fics like Star Wars: Episode 4 and 1/2

A long time ago in a galaxy, far, far away—no, even farther than that—a series of insignificant events affects everyone in massive ways no one could have foreseen: not even either of the two remaining people who can see the future. A messiah's prophecy is fulfilled. A family is reunited. A democracy is restored. None of it is easy, and none of it is perfect, but it's a start. In other words: Anakin Skywalker just wants to be able to look his daughter in the eye. So, since there's no one else around who can give him a kick in the pants, he does so himself; and with great reluctance (and even more grumbling), he sets about fixing the galaxy he played a large role in screwing up. (Updates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until further notice.)
