Fics like No Amount of Whiskey

Glinda feels suddenly very brave and very stupid. “Do you not want to kiss me because you actually don’t want to or because you think you’re being noble?” Elphaba is quiet for so long that Glinda becomes convinced she didn’t actually ask that question aloud. Instead of answering, the green woman looks out over the ink-dark harbor, the sea beyond it. “We’re leaving again tomorrow.” “Okay? And what about tonight?” _________ Or: Glinda's a bartender in a harbour town and Elphaba's a sailor at the whim of the sea. A situationship ensues (they're actually in love).
