Fics like Straight from the Bottle

Pain and grief are finicky. And how we deal with them is also finicky. Almost anything can be considered a coping skill. Doesn’t mean it’s a healthy one. That’s something Dog Man knows all too well, coping at the bottom of a bottle. While Li’l Petey is at a friend’s for the weekend, Dog Man gets drunk. Really drunk. And Petey, wanting his son, walks in on this. Oh no… no, no, no. This will not stand. AKA: Dog Man is a high-functioning alcoholic. Petey finds out and tries to help him.
