Fics like Stolen Ghosts (Part 1)

The instinct to run was as strong as it’d ever been. Don’t think about her, he told himself, keep running. He clung to his mantra, trying desperately to stay in the moment. Keep running, keep running, keep running… ... Yet the lines he’d drawn in the sand became shallower as the tides tried to wash them away, and he was too clever not to notice Rose returning his feelings. Looks lingered longer. Excuses for physical contact became more frequent. His thoughts wandered, and increasingly he indulged them, imagining himself holding her the way he longed to. -- Separated by the events at Torchwood, The Doctor and Rose remember some of the moments from their time together. Deleted scenes and bits in between from Season 2 with romance and episodic style adventures. Part 1 now complete of what will eventually be a longer series. Part 2 now started.
