Fics like Everyone Wants The Wrong Girl

Nancy Wheeler is the girl everyone believes in. The girl everyone wants to be. Perfect grades. Perfect posture. Perfect boyfriend. Perfect future. She’s the cheer captain, captain of the debate team, honor roll every year, student of the month more times than anyone can count. Teachers trust her. Parents admire her. Friends rely on her. She built her life on being dependable, admirable, and untouchable. And for a long time, she believed in that version of herself too. Everything begins to shift when Robin Buckley enters her life. Not as a rumor. Not as an idea. As a person. Robin is awkward, honest, guarded. She doesn’t pretend. She doesn’t try to impress anyone. And somehow, Nancy finds herself drawn to her in ways she doesn’t understand. Robin Buckley hates Nancy Wheeler. Or that’s what she tells herself. She hates how easy everything seems for her. How everyone looks at her like she matters. How perfect her life appears. But the closer Robin gets, the harder it becomes to hate her. Because what happens if Robin Buckley, the girl who never lets anyone in, lets Nancy Wheeler see her? What happens if Nancy Wheeler, the girl everyone believes in, chooses Robin? What if the girl she hated is the one she needs?
