Fics like Halfway Happy

Steve Harrington was a baldfaced lie. It was a mirage that two desperate people had crafted to save a scared, little boy. It was an easy name - only a letter different from that he’d always known. Steve was designed to be boring. A droll American name, fit to blend into a crowd. It was a name for a child from a wealthy family, another boy to take over his father’s company once he grew of age. Designed to be easy to talk about in a positive light, to be the standard teenager in an ordinary town. He played the part rather well. After all, it was better to be the spoilt rich son of an arrogant man, than to be a child with a number etched upon his wrist. aka, a rewrite of Stranger Things with Steve as a lab kid. it begins with season one, with plans to finish out the show in season five. featuring: immortality, immorality, and the terrors of Steve escaping a place that would always know to look for him. updated weekly (tue/wed) xx
