Fics like To love her is my oath

Wednesday Addams was never supposed to become important to Enid. She was only meant to be her knight for a short while, a quiet, faceless guard at the princess’s side, sworn to secrecy and destined to move on once her duty was complete. Instead, ten years later, she’s still there. Now she’s helping Enid search for a traitor hidden within the castle walls, slipping into locked rooms, solving a growing mystery… and, for reasons she refuses to examine too closely, allowing Enid to braid her hair. -------------------------- aka Wednesday Addams is chosen to be Enid’s personal guardian knight, sworn never to reveal her face or even her name. That arrangement works perfectly... until her identity is exposed by accident. Enid is smitten (even more than she already was). Wednesday is… handling it poorly. Together they hunt conspirators, outmaneuver political enemies, and absolutely refuse to address the very obvious feelings developing between them.
