Fics like How to make friends and haunt Gotham

After leaving his original dimension for his own safety, going off the rails in grief for a period, and finally processing enough to be mildly human again, Danny is ready to give this whole 'living' thing a try again. He's in Gotham, in a dimension that he's grown fond of, and trying to lay down roots so that he can survive comfortably. Unfortunately, he can't recall how to make friends. Also, he doesn't want anyone to know he's actually dead because what if something like the GIW happen here? Regardless, if he wants to stay, he needs to have a support circle to help his obsessions from ripping his mind from him again, which means he needs to befriend people, which means he needs to figure out how to speak to the Bats of Gotham. This would be easier if there wasn't a cult trying to bring in ghosts from the Infinite Realms to cause havoc and give Danny a bad name.
