Fics like A Meeting of Moments

When Tommy meets Shayne freshman year, he doesn't expect their friendship to last much longer than the two week university orientation, but, after Shayne continues to make meaningful -- if not brief -- appearances in his life, he admits to himself that maybe he should've tried harder to keep him around. When a speaking engagement brings them closer than they've ever been, Tommy's forced to address the fact that the desire he's long considered fantasy may be more in reach than it seems. 'Tommy presses his fingers against his pulse. Just to feel it. Curious to see if Shayne's heart is racing as fast as his own -- "I've got you." -- it is.'
