Fics like 12 month don't mean a thing

Langdon is doing good. Not well, not really, but good. He supports Mel where he can, he does good work. He pays attention to the way his coworkers react to him, learns which are uncomfortable with him and gives them space. He takes Robbys harsh words without complaint. He's doing good. He just can't think about the upcoming day. The one year aniversary of his sobriety. Because if he does, he will start to think about all the pain it took to get there, all the pain that it still is. He'll think about how the people he works with should know what day is coming up but besides Mel nobody is likely to care. He'll think about how he went through hell to get back here, to prove to Robby that he was still good, and how Robby won't even look at him. Langdon is doing good. He is not doing well. Support comes from where he'd least expect it.
