Fics like Tholie's Journey

Tholie decides to take a Journey to visit her Mamutoi kin, but what happens when direction is lost and she stumbles upon the biggest cave lion in his den? What would it be like for Ayla to find a woman of the Others, before a man? This is a retelling of Ayla's story from the second half of Valley of Horses, going into The Mammoth Hunters and running into The Plains of Passage. I've taken many elements from the original story to keep the characters true to form while rearranging some things and taking small liberties to craft an accurate tale of girl power!
