Fics like Black Cat Wandering Backwards on the Road to Nowhere

Shinsou Hitoshi dies whilst under the influence of multiple quirks and is reincarnated as Hatake Kakashi. (Can be read without any knowledge of Road to Nowhere. This is just the same concept reversed.) (But it's a really good story so you should do that anyway.) (For your soul.) Most kids with undesirable quirks dream of a place where powers can be gained and discarded like any other skill. Where you don't have to be defined by the power your parents passed onto you. Where everyone has the potential to learn to use any quirk they like, as long as they work for it. But even fantasy worlds are plagued by the inherent unfairness of genetics, apparently. And war. There's also that.
